- The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, have their authority from God alone, and are given to us by divine inspiration.
- There is one true and living God. He is an infinite Spirit, self-existent, and sovereign of the universe. The Godhead consists of three persons in one; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are equal in divine perfection, and who execute distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.
- Jesus Christ is God’s Son, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on a cross as the sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He was buried, and rose again the third day. He is the Saviour of all who believe.
- The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, by whom all saving, comforting, and sanctifying power is exerted upon human hearts.
- Salvation involves the redemption of the whole person, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer.
Jesus said:
- “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10b
- “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. “John 14:6
- “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” John 6:37
- “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40
